Di Palomo Goodness & Goodies

A couple of months ago I reviewed Di Palomo’s Sensual Dry Oil and gave it a glowing report.  Alas, as luck would have it, I subsequently received an email from Di Palomo advising that this product has been discontinued.  My disappointment was short-lived as the lovely people at Di Palomo very kindly sent me a a box of samples from their three current collections to try out.

From the outset, I wish to state that my reviews are always honest and I never ever recommend a product just because I got it for free or have been given an incentive to do so.  This forum is always based on my honest opinion.

Which brings me neatly on to say that the Di Palomo samples that I tried were genuinely fabulous. 

From the White Grape & Aloe collection, I tried out the Enriching Hand & Nail Cream.  This is a luxuriously creamy and soft cream with a light, fresh scent.  It melts into the skin instantly and leaves the hands feeling extremely soft and supple, with no greasiness.   An excellent product for this cold weather.

From the Orange Blossom with Wild Honey & Olive collection, I sampled their Dry Oil.  My expectations were very high given my success with it’s predecessor, Sensual Dry Oil, and I wasn’t disappointed.  In fairness, it’s a beautiful product.  It has a very pleasant, gentle, floral scent, which is noticeable without being overpowering.  The spray nozzle dispenses the product in a fine mist, which, unlike other oils, means that you are less likely to over apply.  being a dry oil, you’re left with beautifully moisturised skin, with a non-greasy finish.  I also tried out the Enriching Hand & Nail Cream from this collection, which performed just as well as the one from the White Grape & Aloe collection.

Finally, from the Wild Fig & Grape collection, I sampled the Eau de Parfum.  This was undoubtedly the star of the show.  It is a stunning fragrance.  In fact, each time I’ve worn it I’ve been besieged with compliments and enquiries as to what it is.
